This notice explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It covers the website only. Anything discussed in a consultation or an intensive is confidential and handled separately, under the professional and ethical obligations Shabnam Lee works to as a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.

Who we are

The Therapy Intensive is the practice of Shabnam Lee, offering therapy intensives online and in Bali. For anything to do with your information, contact admin@shabnamlee.com.

What we collect

When you fill in the consultation form, we receive the name, email address and WhatsApp number you enter, and which intensive you were reading about. This is sent to us by email so we can reply and arrange your free consultation. We do not ask for health information in the form, and we would ask you not to include any.

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and whether they contact us. It tells us patterns, not who you are. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens inside WhatsApp and is covered by their terms as well as ours.

Cookies

No analytics cookies are set unless you press Accept. If you decline, none are set, and the site works exactly the same. Your choice is remembered in your own browser.

To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the notice will appear again.

Who else is involved

• Our form service passes your enquiry to our email inbox. It does not use it for anything else.
• Google Analytics provides the visitor statistics described above, and only if you accept cookies.
• YouTube hosts the client story videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
• Our website host keeps standard server records, as any website host does.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return. Analytics data is kept for the shortest period Google allows. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to analytics at any time. Email admin@shabnamlee.com and we will deal with it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it.
